English: Coast Road, Littlestone in 1972 The building nearest the camera is called 'Sandcroft' (built in 1900) and the one just beyond it is 'The Dutch House'. Sandcroft was formerly known as Sandycroft, the Dutch House - Sealands. They belonged to Lord Gladstone and his relative Mr Henry Gladstone. The seawall is shown as it was before being covered by shingle. |
