Das Wappen der Stadt Plaue im Ilm-Kreis / Thüringen / Deutschland

Deutsch: Blasonierung: „In Blau ein goldener Löwe mit roter Zunge und Bewehrung.“ Das Wappen von Plaue zeigt den schwarzburgischen Löwen. Siegel vom Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts haben das gleiche Bild bei wechselndem Typus.
