Kai cilts

Kai cilts (turku: Kayı boyu) bija tjurku tautu atzars, kas pieder pie oguzu tjurku grupas un bozoku cilšu saimes. No mūsdienu tautām ar viņiem parasti saista turkmēņus. Turku valodā ar vārdu kayı apzīmē to, kam pieder spēks un vara.

Saskaņā ar osmaņu tradīciju, Osmaņu impērijas dibinātājs Osmans I bija kai pēctecis.^[1] Tomēr daudzi mūsdienu vēsturnieki ir apšaubījuši šo apgalvojumu.^[2]
