Juris Švēde (angļu : George Swede Kanādas dzejnieks un bērnu grāmatu autors. Viens no ievērojamākajiem angļu valodas haiku rakstniekiem.
Dzimis kā Juris Puriņš 1940 . gada 20. novembrī , Rīgā . Otrā pasaules kara beigās kopā ar māti un patēvu devās bēgļu gaitās uz Vāciju, 1947. gadā uz Kanādu. 1950. gadā pārcēlās uz Vankūveru , kur mācījās skolā, vēlāk studēja Britu Kolumbijas Universitātē, ko 1964. gadā beidza ar psiholoģijas bakalaura grādu. Strādāja par psiholoģijas instruktoru Vankūveras pilsētas koledžā (1966-1967), pēc tam Raiersona Universitātē Toronto (Ryerson University , 1968-2006), bija psiholoģijas departamenta vadītājs (1998-2006). Pensionējās 2006. gadā, pašlaik dzīvo Toronto .
